My name is Teena, I am an experienced mental health clinician who uses a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to treat a wide variety of difficulties in adults and adolescents. I have experience in the treatment of anxiety and depression as well as stress, relationship difficulties, low self esteem, adjustment, life transitions, problems at work, sleep difficulties, loss, grief, personality vulnerabilities and managing difficult emotions.
I use evidenced based treatments and tailor therapy to your individual needs. I have experience in the provision of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as mindfulness based treatments.
I take a practical approach to therapy, helping you develop a ‘toolkit’ of personalised strategies and coping skills, so that you feel equipped to deal with life’s challenges. I aim to empower you by helping you recognise your existing strengths and learn new psychological skills.
